Is it possible to turn off the email message notificiation on the display? I know how to turn off the sound and vibrate for emails, but I can't figure out how to turn the message indicator off. Any ideas?

Go to Profile (the speaker). Select your profile (active). Select the a message setting (you will see many). Select LED Flashing. Select on/off.

Question for you. Do you just not to be alerted (sound/vibration/LED) of new emails so you can read/delete them later? Or do you want stop (too many) emails from pushing to phone?

I'm not sure. I actually have a T-Mobile 8320 and I use the T-Mobile theme.

I have the Repeat Notification changed from LED flashing to None, but it still shows when I get an email.

You have to do this for each message account/type. If also applies for future messages. Also each message has in-holster and out-of-holster settings, you have to do both.

Open your email or messages folder and select your menu button, then select "options" and "general options" and you will see the field where you can set "Display new message indicator" to off.
