I just bought an 8330 to use with my Microsoft exchange server. I was under the impression that I could automatically sync the server and phone without a physical connection. Now I hear that Blackberry wants $500. to do this. Is there a legal workaround I could do to accomplish this. I possess all the technological capability of a Neanderthal. Help!!!!
My understanding is you can't unless you have the Blackberry Exchange Server installed by your MIS people - and it cost $$. Otherwise, you'll have to do it via USB cable - like I do.
You can download Blackberry Professional Software for Exchange for free. It will give you one CAL, and then you can only add up to 15 or 20 before you have to purchase a copy of. BES.
