I will be out of the country for two weeks and don't need my emails while gone. Is there a setting on my 8300 that will turn off my email receiving? I found "browser push" under settings, am I right in thinking that I need to un-check - enable push, enable MDS push, enable WAP push and un-check allow WAP push applications? Will this accomplish what I want? then when I get back I can recheck them and things be back to normal?

goto option, then "mobile network" and turn off "data service".

or you can delete your email account on BIS. and setup again when you return.

thanks for the response jychow, but I don't have "mobile network" listed anywhere under options. I was hoping this would be easy to do.

It would be under "Manage Connections", Mobile Network Options will be a submenu.
