    Hello,

I have set up 4 email accounts. When I send a message, my 8330 sends it using the first one of them (in alphabetical order) by default. How can I set up the second one as the default?

    Thanks,

    Gabor

Thanks, but that doesn't work. It IS set to the second one, yet my Curve uses the first one.

If the issue is that it's being sent using the wrong email just highlight "send using" when you compose an email, click the trackball and select the appropriate email. Otherwise compose the email from the proper inbox first and it will be selected by default.

The issue is this: I select a picture to send as email. Then I have to manually select the second account (in alphabetical order) to be used. If I don't, the first is used by default. I would like it to use my second account by default and manually select the first (or other) account if and when I need to.

    Thanks,

    Gabor

I'm not sure if this is how it works or if it's true.
But the default address, for me, it only works when I'm under "Messages"
    I think?
    I'm not 100% sure.
When I want to send a picture it always goes by Alphabetical order for the "SEND USING"

Wait, ok, when composing a NEW email, I can choose which email, or keep as default, (my hotmail) but when replying to one do I have to use the address it came to to reply? get me? lol,

Right. Now how do I set it up such that even though I "Can change when composing a fresh email", I don't have to, because it automatically is set to my second account (instead of the first one)?

When did you finish adding them, have you resent your service books, try a battery pull, register the device on the network?
    Resending service books
Either log onto your carriers BIS where you can edit your email info etc and resend from there, or find the manage internet email icon and follow that thru.

    Register the Host Routing Table

You are correct Rachel, it could be a security thing, who knows...

I don't think it's a security issue. It just makes sense that if you
reply to an email it is helpful to the user on the other end if you
reply with the address they used to begin with, otherwise things
can get cluttered and confused. Holdover function from RIMs
primarily business space days would be my guess.

I did all that but it didn't help...
    Any idea, anybody?

A PITA, try removing all email, then readding, send the books afterwards. If you want.
