You are close to the minimum recommended to be free. anything under 5MB 5000000 bytes and you risk messages/call logs deleting. Make sure all pics, music, videos, and ring tones are on a media card. reduce media memory settings to lowest level and set camera to save to media card.

You can also free up some memory using one of the following:

Also upgrading your OS, depending on the version you have, can unlock more memory.

Yeah when I upgraded to a higher hybrid os I got a little more free and all of my media is on my card. Plus I'm not much of an app person, I only have a few. So my file free is 37 megs.

Since you are on T-Mobile, you probably have an 8320, not an 8330. You should change your profile to show the correct device. That'll help you get more focused answers. In this case though, the answer isn't device dependent. If you did have an 8330, you'd have 50% more memory to work with and be less likely to have the problem. But you'd have to switch to a CDMA carrier to do that. And the 8330 doesn't have wifi. It's always a trade-off.

Try downloading maxmem. Type it in google and you should find it.

This app let's you remove carrier themes and the preloaded pictures and ring tones

I managed to free up 3MB doing this.

Don't delete the BB standard themes as the BB needs these to run plasmic themes.

Also every time you use the desktop software to add apps and themes you will have to remove the files again as it loads these back in.

I have 24MB free on my 8310 and it runs no probs

    I hope this helps
