    Hello everyone,

It seems as if people are paying different prices for their Verizon 8330 Curve.

I am curious how much you all spent and if it is a good price, how did you get it so cheap (company discounts, new every-2, etc)?

If you spoke to a friendly VZW rep, please mention their info too. I would like to get the Curve, but as a student, would like to get it as cheap as possible.

On that note, do I need an Enterprise account to get my school's (.edu) mail?

How do you get the new every 2 discount? I have been a long-term customer of Verizon's and would like to get it.

Any other discounts you know of?

$469 including tax. But that is just becuase I had just upgraded in March with an 8830. I sold it on ebay for $250 so that helped with the retail price of the Curve. I had gotten the 8830 for $99 so the profit helped offset the high price of the Curve
I just missed having a camera too much. Other than that, I loved the 8830.
Talk about addicted. I can't believe I paid that much for a phone. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Curve.

Got mine for free. I swapped my pearl for a new curve through the warranty process. Had the Pearl since it was released for Verizon. I used to work for VZW and have some good contacts there.

I got mine for $180. I just used my ne2 upgrade in December. No contract extension with this. I just told the guy I really wanted the curve and he hooked me up. Gotta love vzw customer service. Took about 8 calls to verizon before I got someone who would work with me though.

What kind of discounts can a guy get while still in contract? What if I buy online?

    Jetman,

Can you give me some more info on how one can go about doing this? I'm on my THIRD pearl and am having issues. Would like to swap for a curve if possible...

By the way, if your transaction was solely the result of your connections, I will not ask to impede on that at all, that type of a request would be crossing the line.

If you would prefer, please feel free to PM, Pin (317ac61b), or email ([email protected])

    Thanks!!

I was at $149 through telesales with new customer & corporate discounts. I have my box sku intact, and wondered if I would also qualify for the $50 mail in rebate? Worth a shot I guess...

I should add that I don't necessarily want it free, just at a discount... I used my NE2 in February on my Pearl.
