I have been told that my BB Curve 8330 can only support up to a 2gb card and I'm wondering if anyone has tried using a larger card and if so does it work properly? I currently have a 2gb card in my phone but I came from my Palm and 4gb and I'm curious as to if the phone will recognize/support a larger card? I love music so I carry it with me!!! Can anyone answer this one for me plz?

If you upgrade your OS to OS 4.5 you will be able to use larger cards.

If he has 4.3, he doesn't have to install 4.5 to support more memory. I didn't have to. Now the 8830 is a different story as I had one of those first.

You have to realize jimmers that when the Curves 8330 came out, they were already updated. That's why it's been said that the 4.3 OS is equivalent to the 4.5

8GB on my 8320. And very impressed with media sync. Just a shame it won't do podcasts as well as playlists.

    Apollo,
Thank you so much for that nugget of info re the 8330 OS. I've been debating about downloading the newest OS version but was scared cuz I'm a n00bie. Now it appears I don't have to, right?

I bought a SanDisk 8gb at Radio Shack for $60.00 last Thursday. I was going to purchase a 2gb until, I saw the SanDisk. Radio Shack said when the sale is over it will be $130.00 again. So don't rush down there before calling please !!
