Does anyone know how to get to the screen saver instead of a black screen. What menu do I go to set this up?

Also is there a way to keep the screen from going black while charging your phone? I would like to be able to see where the status is on my phone will it is charging.

Not really sure what you're talking about for the screen saver??

Am really curious as to why you would want your screen on while the phone is charging.. I know mine lights up the whole room.. Even more puzzling is it that big of a deal to hit a key on the keyboard to turn the light on??

There is no screen saver. A screen saver would make it harder for your device to charge anyway.
