    Can someone please tell me how to fully restore my 8320 to factory settings and wipe all data off of it??

    Go to options-security-general settings-BB function key-Wipe hand held. That's how it is on the 8330.

    You have to reinstall OS after that don't you?

    No you don't. I just did it on a spare unit I have lying around.
    The BB is cleared, the OS remains intact.
    You are probably thinking of the JL_Cmder method, in which case you would.
