So I bought the hands free stereo headset for my 8330 (I think it's the original one that came with the 8330 when you buy it new). Question is, is there a mic embedded somewhere on the hands free stereo headset so that I talk into it instead of having to pull my phone out of my pocket?

    Thanks in advance.

    I use a motorola s9 with my 8130 and now my 9700
it works great and has a mic built in, but it was bluetooth.

your headset if it is OEM should have a little clip that goes on your collar that contains the mic.

you can see what i mean in the pic on the link

If you just bought it doesn't it come with an instruction book? But I would think that if it just a stereo headset that there is not a mike with it.

Do you mean the removable clip?? (top right corner in the picture)
Or the thing with the button that you use to play/pause music?
