How do you text using a Curve?

compose SMS message. that is your standard texting stuff...

pick # (sometimes people in the address book have multiple numbers)
click menu button
pick text mobile
have hey day!

you open the icon called SMS and MMS
blackberry menu key.. compose sms text
then you hit those buttons that each have a letter on them
menu
send

text messages are more correctly known as SMSs (Short Message Service) and, as has been said, there is an app called SMS and MMS, use that and amaze your friends that you know what the function is correctly called.

haha thats what i was thinking when i read the thread title. because ive seen some people use there left thumb and right index finger. hahah

Using my thumbs to type.

A for Address Books; type in name; Menu key; S for SMS Text; click trackball, start texting, double click trackball to send. Simple way once you get used to it.

Or, go into the SMS folder and click R on the last text to them to reply to it.

You shouldn't have to feel that way, but it's totally understandable, especially on the internet, but don't feel discouraged! There are tons of people here that are more than willing to help with any and all problems!
