I have an 8830 now and Verizon is sending me a new Curve 8330 on Friday. I have searched the forums but can't find anything specific on how to transfer things over and what I should and shouldn't trnasfer.

One more thing - I would like to transfer over my address book but my calendar is all messed up so how can I delete that or not transfer that? I've got a lot of duplicate entries for some reason.

Duh - just noticed I spelled it Curbe in the title and I can't edit it. LOL!

in the desktop manager there is an option that says something like switch devices. it lets you switch data from phone to phone

Yeah. Didn't even know the Curbe was out yet. :lol:

Go to DM and just do a Backup and then a Restore on the new one. Then go to the BIS site switch devices (pin and esn) there.
