I understand how this site works and can download and use the things I get off this site. But when I try to get like free themes off other sites to use with my phone I download them and then they don't appear. I've tried downloading them from pc and blackberry and sending the files through email to my phone.
If the files your downloading are jad/jar then you need to use your blackberry browser to go where you got them from and download. If it is a zip containing alx/cod files you need to use app loader in desktop manager. Welcome to CB by the way.
I've only had my curve for 3 months and initially I had the same issues and it was very frustrating. It's the easiest if you just navigate to the site through your phone and download directly from the site. That way you don't get any of the "File not Found" errors or anything like that.
