I just downloaded Yahoo IM since that is what my Iraq deployed Son is using and the Wife is complaining about the sound it makes when I receive an incoming IM. Can this be changed and how/where are the settings for this. I have looked and cannot find anything.

The default notifier_Cricket can be annoying, fortunately it is easy to change or silence.
Profiles / Advanced ... will take you to the control panel. Select your Active profile and press the trackball. Select the Yahoo Messenger Alert to customize it.
