I just got a 8330 and im trying to figure out how to customize the alert and notification sounds? Do I need to download something? So far all I did was went into Media to select a ringtone. Will this be the sound for text messages also?

Profiles, advanced, choose the active profile, they are then all in there to chose from.

I'm obviously doing something wrong here.

I got my very first BB last night, a curve and I can't set alerts for things. I did go into profiles, went into advanced but all I have in there is something that says "use active profile except for" and then it has a box to check off important calls...

This phone is driving me INSANE
