    when i hit the message icon, i want to open my inbox instead of mailbox. how do i default to the inbox?

    no. mailbox shows all messages. sent, txt, etc.

    So click the shortcut for your email inbox instead.

    Go to your messages options, general options, and for SMS and email inbox select seperate

    You can also configure a convenience to access it. Options>screen /keyboard>convenience key.

    i like the convenience key idea but inbox isn't an option in the list. just messages which takes me to the same screen that shows everything. i did find options to hide sent messages and filed messages.. that actually helped a lot.
