how can i install OS 4.5.0.89 on my verizon phone do to OS 4.5.0.77 having the speaker phone problem when the phone is answered

I think version .89 is for the 8320 and not the 8330. I might be wrong.

Yes, only for incoming calls. It's not a big problem for me at the moment, becuase most of my calls are outgoing.

.89 is Alltel's OS 4.5, but it might be other carrier's too. did you check VZW's website? i think I heard that they've got a new OS out

I think VZW may have released .77. If you are still having issues and you think .89 will help you do the upgrade. Remember, upgrading your OS to something other than your carrier will in most cases void your warranty. Follow all published guidelines for an OS upgrade, especially the backup procedure. There is also .97 out there (do a search for it here or on google), it is a stable OS used by many, including myself. I've had it for over a month now with no issues. However, just because it works ok in my phone doesn't mean it will do the same in yours. Caveat Emptor. Buyer Beware!
