    Please Please Help My husband Has a Blackberry Curve 8330 and when someone calls him there is this God awful noice that only the caller can hear the only way to decribe it is this horrible LOUD screaching sound that lasts about 3 seconds it is so loud you as the caller have to hold the phone away from your ear! we have tried everything to make this go away, exchanged phones, called the company who has are service no one can figure it out, I have the same phone same service and mine does not do this. please please help!

    mine is 4.50 169 his is 1 below me he is not home right now but I looked last night so I apologize but i belive I saw 132 in the last 3 #'s

    What you described might be the callers hearing the phone ringing in the microphone, kind of like feedback on a PA system.

    You might want to consider upgrading his BB to a higher OS version.

    Thank you I will try that next do you know what the current proper official running OS is - I am not quit the guru to do all the hybrid or leaked things yet lol

    The official OS for your husband's 8330 on Cellcom is 4.5.0.77

    You can always load the same OS as what is on yours (4.5.0.169), or just load up the latest 8330 OS at the top of this forum (4.5.0.175).
