how can i completely wipe my os off the black berry so that i an reinstall it if i cant get the phone o turn on and i cant get the jl_cmder to work
all i have is a icon of a batery with a line thru it it is not the batery and i need help

If you have the icon for the battery with a line through it, then it
is indeed the battery. Replace that first an everything else will
fall into place.

Your battery is shot. And a better thread title would be more useful.

no not the batery tried 3 batterys

no the led goes red for bout 4 seconds the the icon comes up
