So I have the Blackberry Curve 8310 with ATT. My phone had a problem so they warranty people sent me a new phone. I used the SWITCH DEVICE WIZARD on the Destop Manager v.4.3.0.17 to do such. I also backed it up before I transferred.
Everything went fine except...
No Browser.
Its loaded in the options -> applications. Its version 4.2.2 The Core BB program is 4.2
But it doesnt appear on my main menu at all and I cannot seem to access it. Default Browser is MediaNet and that is my only option. I tried to load it with the application loader on the desktop manager.
I think because the browser has no icon or anything and doesnt seem to be loaded, it is the reason I cannot use my Gmail app. it says and I quote the phone has no working data connection.
yet I can go through NYTimes icon on my main menu to access their mobile website. So I still get data connection somehow. My google maps also makes the connection fine and dandy.
i also noted my o.s. menu has a slight light blue color to it. it used to be white.
