I have 2 questions 1 is an icon keeps coming up wireless updated on my phone. I used to click it and my phone would freeze then finally I clicked it and it updated something on my phone for like 2 hours. What is this and why was it happining on my phone and not my husbands. And the 2nd question is that in the application screen where it says move, help, hide it alsaid now playing. What is now playing?

now playing brings up the current song, sound etc in media player. Usually whatever was last played.

Wireless update is a method to update your phone sans BB desk top manager. Takes WAY long. I always use BB desktop unless you have 3G. Some things take forever, like when I upgraded to BB messenger 5 for example, took so long I thought my phone was frozen.

Sprint did an operating system update on the 8330m recently, it's possible your husband's BB is a different model (8330 vs 8330m).
