I use the alarm on my bb to wake up to in the mornings, but it didn't go off this morning! Well - technically it did, but there wasn't a sound notification.

Usually I can put my phone on quiet and nothing comes through except for the alarm sound notification.

    Here's what I've changed recently:
upgraded my bb (through the notification on my phone) - when I did this, I had to reinstall my BerryBuzz and other apps... I'm wondering if the upgrade or something I did when I set the BerryBuzz up messed with my alarm settings.

    PLEASE HELP!!

Hi, if you updated to Sprint's 4.5.0.172 then it has known issues with messing with your sounds and profiles. Try a battery pull, then do a quick alarm to test it out.

+1 on the battery pull. Unfortunately this is a common problem. Regular battery pulls before bed will keep this from happening.

I have my 8310 on quiet and use it as an alarm. QuickPull Pro resets the phone 30 minutes before my alarm goes off. But it has always worked fine for me.

Also, make sure you are closing out of the alarm properly, so it saves it with the alarm on. Some peolpe have closed out of them the wrong way so it doesn't activate the alarm.

Its the OS upgrade. I would downgrade to 169.

unfortunately all the OS updates above .160 have this issue. Daily battery pulls are a work around for the problem, plus they keep your phone nice and clean running.

I installed .175 but used the .131 COD's for profile. This permanently fixed the ringing/sound info. Check the .175 thread -- this is the only real solution short of downgrading.

No they don't. .169 does not have this problem. It didn't start until .175.
