my bb 8300 makes a loud feedback sound when on calls, this is making it near impossible to make calls. iv found options/general options but there is no enhance call audio as it suggests in manual. i dont know what else to try, help......

It's under Menu/Options/Phone options/Enhanced audio. But I'm not sure that's your problem. Maybe try Auto Volume Control on the same EA page. Good luck.

It sounds like you are experiencing electromagnetic interference. Is your phone near a computer, radio, TV?

This was a horrible characteristic of the later 4.5 carrier OS's on some devices, and part of the reason I'm now running a hybrid. Did you recently "update" your device software to OS 4.5.0.175?
If so, you may want to downgrade to .138, or sub your radio files.
