My facebook app has stopped alerting me any ideas what this could be ?

I have tried un-installin and the re-installin but nothing, also i haven't got any emails sent to it for awhile but im not sure this is a problem.

Are other data functions working? Try battery reset - Resend service books.

This is a known issue with facebook. They are supposedly working on a fix. I would say delete it until they work the bugs out

hmmmm but it was working ok, i think it stopped working when i took my sim card out to use my nokia for the weekend last week.

how do i do them things your on about mate ?

What things? The reset thingy is pulling your battery out for a minute or so and restarting your phone.

lol, but i am a self confessed facebook ***** and i need my notfications for when im not at my pc lol

Try these instructions:

Send Service Books: Click your internet email icon (the envelope with a gear in front of it)> click service books> click send service books.

Register Device: Click options> click advanced options> roll down and click host routing table> press your menu key> select register now> click back and close

hmm, my phone has done the same thing too, its been like 3-4 days since it last sent me notifications. I can update my status, poke, write on a wall and such but when people poke me or write to me i dont get anything. i did resend service books, and re-registered and did a battery pull. how can i find out if the facebook bug is fixed? is there a website?
