I am new to this whole thing. I have already downloaded some songs into my Curve from itunes (not bought from itunes) by just dragging the song from itunes to the music icon on the media card. So today I bought some songs from itunes and have done the same. The songs show up on the computer as downloaded, the icon on the computer is an mpeg4 symbol with a lock, but it doesn't show up on my phone. I have turned on my mass media storage option. Any ideas????

Most songs purchased through iTunes contain content protection called DRM (Digital Rights Management). It isn't possible for a BB to playback these songs that are protected.

Yes, that is what I am saying. If you are going to put music on your BB, you need to make sure they are not protected using DRM. You could, if you felt like doing so, use itunes to burn the files to cd, then rip the cd back to your computer.

You can remove the DRM with a program like this:

DRM converter software. Converts iTunes, Napster, etc files - legally
