Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie to Blackberrys and just got the Blackberry 8310.

I upgraded the OS from 4.2 to 4.5.0.81. I'm having a problem with downloading themes, games etc. via the desktop manager.

Every time I download an application with the .alx extension and try to load it to my device it says "No additional applications designed for your device were found."

These applications are supposedly compatible with 4.2/higher or specifically designed for 4.5 so right now I don't know what to do...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you just want the themes click on the blackberry button choose select highlight the picture and save than zoom in on the image and set as screen saver! I have the same phone and honestly I don't use the devise manager, just get on the site from your phone and download this works for me
