I got my hands on a Blackberry Curve 8330. I am trying to get a chinese OS on it for a family member. I don't want to type in chinese but read all the gui options in chinese.

I am not able find anything that works or lets me do that using my google skills or search function. I found the chinese language keyboard input support but nothing that makes the OS chinese. The phone will not let me change to chinese in the language settings. Supports 8330

It is my understanding that if you load a multilanguage OS there should be an option to checkthe Chinese language to load. I've heard that there is several different choices for Chinese.

So I couldn't get it to load with the current version. I downloaded 5.0 Boost Mobile and installed it on my 8330 Curve for Sprint.
After messing around and searching I downloaded this chinese pack from http://forums.crackberry.com/tips-ho...evices-465836/. I got it to install after some trouble but I can only get system language to change finally but I can't change the Input language.

I am not trying to actually text in chinese but just to enter contact names in chinese so that my family member can finally know who's calling.
