Hey guys, so I finally upgraded to OS 4.5. Everything seemed to have gone well. All the new features that it came with i have access to except the HTML email. The option to enable it doesn't seem to be there. Also when I tried to look up the OS in the about screen, it wont open up. No error message or anything, but when i click about nothing happens. Is there something i messed up on in the upgrading process?

try a battery pull and then try......

First question : Did you remove VAD (voice activated dialing) through any method available (Java Folder edit, crackmem, or maxmem)????

That would disable the About screen in a heart beat

Oh looks like you hit it. I took out VAD with maxmem In either case it's not going to bother me very much since i rarely look at the about screen. My other question is the HTML email. I did the battery pull but it doesn't seem to help

Get CrackMem http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/crac...eleased-52044/ and you can put VAD back with no pain.

To fix the HTML email, re-send your service books either by logging into your BIS account or by calling your carrier and have them do it.

You can also use ALT+SHIFT+H to get the device/OS information.

if u remove vad, this is one of the side effects of this there is nothing wrong with your device.
