Okay during a week where I can only say I was asleep at the wheel I have messed up my Calendar. Multiple emails means multiple calendars with duplicates -- I don,t know. Anyway seems best way to fix is to wipe it out and re sync from googlr.
    1. Does this sound like the right train of thought? Basically I found duplicates and started deleting them then realizing it was in only one calendar a lot of dupes, some missing.

    2. How do I delete calendar database?

There is one calendar per email address, although only your default calendar should get populated (though google sync might behave differently, I don't use it.)

Quickest way to clear your calendar would be to hook it up to desktop manager, go to backup/restore, click advanced, select the calendar database and hit clear. Make sure you do a backup first though.

Or select the calendar that you want cleared. Go to agenda view.

    Menu Go to Date
(go to a date in like 2015)
Put cursor on a day not an event
    Menu Delete Prior

This calendar should now be empty and the duplicates should be removed.
