I just got a used 8330 for boost off of ebay. I made a phone swap over the help line and it was fairly painless. Every feature on the phone works fine but receiving text messages. I've tried everything; pulling the battery, registering the phone, checking to see if there was enough memory, etc. The data works, the voice works, why can't I recieve a text message? Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps a provisioning mistake by the carrier?

I also have the Boost 8330. It took about 3 days for the text messaging to fully work. Just be patient.

Yes. Sometimes it will take a few days for sms and mms to work

Bought a new 8330 from Boost , had my # transferred @ the store. W / in the hour my txt was up & running . Guess it all depends .

Call boost and be sure to ask for a bb tech. I have had my 8330 for nearly a year and have had to call cs only once. They have great support. Call them they will fix you right up.
