heres my problem. some times my media player works and sometimes it doesnt. along with my media player, my ringtones dont work anymore. help.
i'm running OS 1.60 and yes i have tried a battery pull many many times and have taken out the mem card. nothing works. still shows up "device media processor" help. please.

The profiles crashes and problems with ringtones is a known issue with OS 4.5.0.160. Despite many warnings in the .160 thread about it not being a good OS for Verizon customer's, people still load it on their 8330s.

Try the .160/.131 hybrid:

Which would be easy to do for you, because you have the .160 OS installed on your computer already.

Or for a straight OS, I recommend Sprint's 4.5.0.131:

I have the hybrid as well. Awesome little OS.

I start the day with over 35 Megs free. makes me quite happy .

I'm having the same problem on my 8330 Curve, will my being on Alltel make any difference with using the hybrid OS?
