    I have 8330 with 4.5 installed, 16 gb mem card so A LOT of music. I have several live CDs that are multiple disk sets loaded on mem card, they are listed as disk 1 track 1.2.3.4.5. etc.. disk 2 track 1.2.3.4.5. etc. however when I pull up album/artist to play on BB they show as disk track 1.1.2.2.3.3.4.4.5.5. etc... Since they are live albums this is very annoying as track 1 carries over to track 2 not track 1 from second set. is there anyway to correct this. If I have to go and through 16 gb of music in media player and edit all track info to make all individual track numbers instead of multiple disks it will be a real P.I.T.A.

    when i explore the media card the tracks are listed as 1-01, 1-02 -- 2-01, 2-02. When media player reads them as 1,1,2,2 completely disregards the disk number

    They are as actual song titles, when I explore they are listed as 1-01 songtitle, 1-02 song title

    It sounds like the ID3 Track Tags might not be set properly.

    Re-tag the songs using software such as Media Monkey and then see what happens.

    Note that the BlackBerry Media Player reads the tags not the filenames.

    I had the same problem and my tags are fine. The media player doesn't read the disc # in the tag. I changed the track numbers on discs 2+ to continue disc 1 track numbering. If disc 1 ends with track 11, start disc 2 on track 12 instead of 1. Your regular player will read it correct as well- just the track #'s will be off, but it's worth it to get your music in order. I use TagScanner ( download.com freeware) It lets you change all tags in a folder at one time.
