I know this is a trick question but I'll play anyway. Like the first 2 numbers along with the rest will tell you which OS you're loading or about to load. ie...4.5,4.3,4.2 so on and so forth. Did I win???

You should already know what OS you are installing when you downloaded the file.

I would recommend getting familar with your BB before worrying about upgrading your device. There is no rush. Plenty of fun to be had with your BB just as it is .

i was searching online for the newest 8310 OS and i found a website claiming they have v4.5.0.69 so i downloaded it and installed it on my computer but when i opened up desk manager it told me the version im trying to install on my phone is 4.5.0. it doesn't give me the last two numbers so i don't know what version im installing on my phone.

My best advice: Don't install something unknown on your device.

You are installing the Version of the OS that you just downloaded and installed on your PC

I would recommend getting more informed about what you are doing before attempting to install a new OS.

i want to thank you guys for the advice i got but i decided to install the software on my phone and it was the newest 8310 OS: v4.5.0.69.

Good job buddy , did everything well? - am running 4.5.0.77 (upgraded today) and so far so good. There were some important Media Player fixes I was happy to see. What do you think so far?

And as always the latest Beta OS info can be found in the Beta OS section. Here are the lastest betas out there;

- 8310 v4.5.0.76

- 8330 v4.5.0.77

- 8320 v4.5.0.76

I Love this version. my phone runs faster now and im able to watch videos from youtube. I'm not sure why i couldn't watch videos when i had OS v4.5.0.55 but I'm not worry now since i moved on to a better OS. How can i find the Beta OS section? Now i want to upgrade to OS v4.5.0.76
