I have files on my memory card that when I try to open them I get " Unable to disply File"
What can I do to open these files?

.REM files indicate that encryption was enabled. You need to disable it on the device. And then see if the extension goes back to .JPG.

.DAT files cannot be opened on the the BlackBerry. On a computer, they are system files and you shouldn't need to open them. But you can view them in a text editor.
