How do you whether the blackberry is using wifi or gprs?
I think maybe my gprs just "drops"? In the manage connections application, it has a negative symbol next to Mobile network but a tick symbol next to the wifi. Does anybody know what this means?

The yellow means you have it active, but no connection...

That would mean the WiFi is active

    GPRS... It will show "G"

Edge... means no blackberry service, but edge is available.
EDGE... means you have blackberry service and is running on EDGE.
Wifi... well you should see the icon show "WiFi" being activated... Been a while since I had my 8320 and forgot how it should look.

Why would i lose connection every now and then? Is is just loss of signal? or is it a problem?

Can you have GPRs and wifi on at the same time etc?

At the top I have wifi (in black) , uma, and wifi signla strentgh i think. ometime GPRS shows up and also arrows pointing forwards and backwards.
