Hey all,
I did a little searching and I wasnt able to find anything that answered my question; only threads from when the 8330 was originally released.
I have GoogleMaps 2.3.2 installed on my Curve right now, and OS 4.5.9.89 (AllTel Release) is loaded as well. I have enabled the GPS to "Location On" and I still cant manage to get GoogleMaps to find my location accurately. It is almost as though it is only using cell triangulation still, and not using the internal GPS. Does GoogleMaps need an update, or am I missing something?
Verizon only unlocked the gps to bb maps, google maps will only use cell tower triangulation for the position. No luck on getting google maps with gps as of yet on verizon
