When using Google Maps on an 8310, does the mapping program update if you go off route? If I understand correctly, it will give you directions and a route and show your location on the route using the GPS, but if you miss a turn or take another route, will Google Maps update and provide new directions?

Also, same question for Blackberry maps on the 8310?

No it doesn't change your directions but the map will show your exact location while you're looking at the map

You could also pull up directions again from "my location"

That's for google maps.. I don't use bbmaps so I'm not sure on that
