Might anyone know why, when I'm in my browser and I hit menu, the option 'Go To' is sometimes not there? Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't . . What's the deal? It isn't there now for example, so I can only go to pages that are either in my history or my bookmarks. Anyone know why, or have this problem also? Thx

Remove the battery while the device is ON, wait a minute and replace. You should be good after that...

Hey that worked, so it's fixed for now- thank you. Is that just something that happens sometimes?

Yep. Sometimes it just happens and a battery pull will clear it.

Ah ok, thanks I used Sidekicks for years, and pulling the battery out was only a LAST resort, since you had to wait for your data to be restored to the device from the backend service. Do Blackberries work differently? Is there a backend service? Can you access your email from a regular computer?

You could also use the browser shortcut key. Press "G" when in browser to pop up the "Goto" page. =)

Pulling the battery on a BlackBerry is one of the first things you should try when troubleshooting.

There's no waiting for data to be restored once it starts back up.

If you are asking about the @carrier.blackberry.net email, no you cannot access it from computer.

    Other browser shortcuts.
    "O" opens browser options
"P" shows the url of the page you're currently viewing.
"S" saves the current page to your message list to view it later if wanted.
"R" reloads the current page you're viewing.
"K" pops open you're saved bookmarks.
    "I" opens your browser history.
"A" adds the current page to the bookmarks list.
"D" sends the browser into background and takes you back to your BB's desktop.
"Z" zooms out from the current page to see more of the page and you can zoom back in by pressing "Z" again.
"C" shows the current connection to the server you're browsing on.
"F","V" both pops open a search menu to search for text/ sentences in the current page.
"Space" moves the page down 1 frame.
"Alt + right shift (rShift) + Space" moves the page up 1 frame.

    And I think that's about it. =)
Have fun with these shortcuts ; )
