    Since I am new to the BB world, why is it recomended to have my work or personal email forwarded to gmail before it is forwarded to my BB ???

    I am not sure why some do it but I only do it because I have comcast and my email takes a long time to get to me if I dont. When I set it up to forward to gmail I get it instantly.... works for me........

    Yeah other than maybe some slow servers, there isn't a real advantage to forwarding it over to Gmail first.
