Sorry everyone - I'm sure there's a post on this somewhere. I tried searching, and just got a TON of hits (I think putting "gmail" in the serach field was a bad idea. )

My question is this: why do some of my Gmail emails stay in my inbox, after I select delete from inbox & handset? It's really annoying to read something on my Curve, delete it (or think I did), and then see it again when I open Gmail on my computer. The really odd thing is, it seems random. SOME of the emails I "delete" do in fact get deleted. Some stay around.

Weird. Any thoughts?

I had this same issue and found out there is another way to make sure that emails are deleted from your Gmail account once you delete it from your BB.

If you haven't tried this yet, this is what I did:

Manage Internet Email > Email Accounts > under your Gmail accounts, choose Edit > Deleted Items: Synchronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device: choose Yes

It's working really well for me so far.
