In my BIS I have the option to:

"Add An Existing Email Account
Set up an existing work or personal email account for use with your BlackBerry device.
ex. Yahoo!�, Gmail�, Microsoft Outlook�"

So my question is, if I put in my gmail username and then password... it will start sending all gmail emails to my bb? simple as that?

Before trying this, I was redirecting all my gmail emails to my bb email..but i don't want to do that if possible.

gmail has push technology ... as soon as its on gmail's server its on your bb ... no need for redirecting ...

what is "push" again?

push means that as soon as the email providor servers get the email so does your blackberry ... you dont have to randomly go poll the server for new messages ...

So technically if I have various emails from various custom .com ISP's for my various personal websites. If I set up a GMAIL account and forward all ISP emails to the gmail account and set it up so my reply address is the same as my ISP......I can essentially get instant push email with any email i have right?
