I am trying to upgrade my Tmo 8320 from .81 to .124

In the process I uninstalled the old OS and installed the new one.
I also deleted the vendor.xml file.
When I wipe my phone and open DM to load the new OS, it still shows that I can choose .81 install. When I choose to install .124 it says there is no need for a new update.

My question is, is there some hidden file or something that I need to delete?
What is going wrong with this update.

You ned to delete the OS from your PC too. Use Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs to remove it.

I forgot to mention that I did uninstall from my computer already

Are you using DM 4.7?

If you are, disconnect from the internet/network before launching loader.exe from the same folder you deleted the vendor.xml file.
