I have a curve 8310 in my own name that my FORMER employer was allowing me to use via their BES server to get work emails, etc...

Now that I no longer work there, what do I need to do to get rid of any of their settings? Most importantly getting rid of that darn every 15 minute password I have to enter each time I want to use my phone.

Oh and btw, how can I get my contacts , calendar, etc.. that are on my curve to my home Outlook?

First thing you want to do is make sure the former emplyee has released the device from the BES. THen search for how to remove an IT policy and possibly wipe the device
