Sorry, I should have been more clear. My Opera Mini's "O" looks pizelated. My Gmail icon does at times as well. I tried the battery pull and reinstall but still the same thing.
My Opera Mini icon and Google Maps icon are pixelated too depending on which theme I use. They are worst on the Vodafone theme, but look fine on the T-Mo themes. I am using a custom theme now and my G Maps looks fine but Opera Mini still looks crappy.
A battery pull fixed my Gmail icon, but my Opera still looks a little... eh. It's just not as pretty as it should be, i'll try changing the themes a bit.
Mr.j, did you ever clear this up? I've had a Pearl (8130) and now a Curve (8330) both using stock "L" theme (usually) and had the same problem. Also tried re-downloading Opera but, it is still "blurry" or "pixilated". Just curious if you figured this out...

Nope, never solved it. I've tried different OS versions, uninstalling/reinstalling... everything I could think of. I ended up just removing Opera all together (not due to the icon though, just found that I like the default browser better).

im having this problem with the apps that come "preinstalled" on the 8330, when using the sprint theme they don't look pixelized, but when using any theme that requires them to be larger in size, they become distorted
Me too. All of my icons always looked fine. But I just switched over to the 4.5 OS and that is when my Opera Mini Icon became pixelated. It is very annoying to me.
