I replied in a previous post but just wondered if anyone had thought of any solutions. Here's the prob. Pull the battery, reinstall, everything looks good...
Trackball works like a champ but no other buttons work. Can't check messages, answer phone calls, nothing!

That points to a bad keyboard or connection.

That should be covered by the hardware warranty.

I haven't messed with the os yet. Only thing I have done is pulled the battery. Probably going to take it back to AT&T tomorrow. I have only had it 2 months.

I had a thread started here yesterday with a similar problem. The screen would suddenly, without any warning or logic, go *BLACK*, as in completely non-functional, DEAD. It would come back to life after about 60-90 disturbing seconds of nothingness. The local VZW store claimed to have fixed the issue; they fixed NOTHING. So far today the problem hasn't reappeared, but if/WHEN/ it does, i'm swapping it out for a replacement model. Hopefully, it will NOT be a refurbished one, but they can do that if they want.
