I am getting a blackberry curve and all i see on craigslist is w/ gps. how does this work, and if i get it unlocked...will it work for free?

i would rather not add 10 dollars a month for gps, because im poor enough as it is to afford 50 dollar bills lol.

is there any way to have gps for free? anywhoo, thanks for putting up with me!

you need a dataplan to get the data.

data plan is needed and once you get that there a few programs you can use for free. google maps is good and also Amaze.

yeah, the gps is free on the phone with blackberry maps and google maps on the phone but you need a data package.

Without it, it would be like trying to use Google Earth on your PC without an internet connection.
