Forwarding sms messages
So... I've officially been a crackberry head for just shy of one week, and I thought I had figured everything out (since I haven't put the phone down), but--does anyone know if there's a way for the messages that you forward to display that they're forwarded? I've never had a phone where you forward a message and it looks like a regular message that you've sent (there's no "fw" or "fwd" in front of the text).

Incoming messages should be listed with a yellow closed envelope icon. When you look at the message, it will change to an open envelope that is kinda white in color.
Replied to messages will have a check mark.
I am still new and haven't forwarded a from my BlackBerry yet. Or I might have and didn't think about it.

No there isn't any automatic way. You need to add the FW: manually before you send the messages.

Welcome to CB. I have the 8330 also and I love my phone. I wonder how many tricks u have figured out?

i am pretty sure it doesnt show the fw: but you can add it in the subject if you wanted someone to know it was a fwd message

I think what OP is asking is if there is a way on his messages screen for him/her to be able to tell at a glance which messages they have forwarded without having to open the message. OP, am I right? On my messages screen, it shows Fw: on messages that I have forwarded.

Thanks everyone... Google123 is correct. I am not trying to determine what the icons mean (Mister.Mitch), I was trying to figure out how/if there was a way for the messages that I forward to actually note that they were forwarded (ex: I get a text with a joke and I want to forward it to you--when I forward the message, it still reads like a new message). Google123, how do you denote that it was forwarded?
