Is it possible to flash an ATT 8310 with the software from the Tmobile 8310. My friend wants to use my unlcocked ATT 8310 with Tmobile and wants it to have the blackberry basically look identical to the tmobile 8310...
I believe that the ATT and Tmobile curves are different. ATT one has GPS while Tmobile has wifi. 8310 is for ATT and 8320 is Tmobile. Soooo all I'm trying to say is it might be hard to flash it exactly the way he wants it.
You can put the Operating System from any 8310 on to any other 8310. This works fine. Some work may be required on the OS before this will work depending on the version used.
If the phone is from say, AT&T then it will always boot up showing the AT&T logo. AT&T also uses some AT&T unique features such as Push To Talk. This too is removable.
It is possible to unlock and add the T-Mobile themes and put them on an AT&T phone too.
The one thing that you cannot ever remove is the AT&T logo at boot time.
