I'm switching from Palm 700p - reluctantly - b/c I'm a big fan of their calendar / tasks / address book. I use the "FIND" (icon is a magnifting glass)function all the time - it searches all the databases at once for whatever text you enter. Is there a comparable function in the Blackberry and/or any good add-on software?
I have a search ICON on mine letting me search messsages, celendar, address book, memo pad and tasks. The ICON is a letter A with a magnifying glass on it.
