I recently purchased a Curve and am unable to send text messeges over 140 characters, a window pops up that reads "field full". I have friends with the same phone on the same network who are able to send multi page text msgs. Any ideas?????? p.s. its CDMA

You sure they aren't sending text via mms?
You can send as much as you want to that way.
But the actual text is limited to 140 characters. If I am wrong I'd sure like to know the answer also.

I THINK that CDMA Curves are only able to send 160? Characters of text while using SMS.
I know for Verizon (I think also Sprint) it's the same issue.
Cause I have Verizon.

If that is the case that's weird. Or maybe not I just haven't heard of that.
But yeah are you sure it's a SMS Text and not like a PIN message or etc?
